We, at Shining Stars Family Day Care, recognise the importance of a robust enrolment and orientation process and have implemented practices to establish a shared understanding between the service and families.
We recognise that sound orientation processes protect the family and the service by providing information that may eliminate and/or clarify misunderstandings and expectations for both short and long-term benefit.
Sound orientation and enrolment allows the family to discuss and identify how they would like their child cared for, express their long-term goals and aspirations and allow the service to inform and discuss with families what they can expect from the service; forming the foundations for a successful partnership.
